we are knowledgeable of all forms of doing business including partnerships, corporations, S corporations and trusts.
Ron
Riggs was most recently a tax partner with Warren Averett, LLC in the Atlanta office. In June 2017 he retired from Warren
Averett but maintains a small number of clients in a tax and financial planning practice. Ron began his career in public accounting
with the Atlanta office of Ernst & Young specializing in the taxation of closely held businesses. After leaving Ernst
& Young as a Manager in the Tax Department, he joined a local Atlanta firm (Gifford, Hillegass & Ingwersen) before
forming his own firm in 1993. Ron served three years with the U.S. Army Security Agency in Berlin, Germany where he also earned
a Master's Degree in International Relations from Boston University. He has more than 35 years of public accounting experience
with a focus on tax consulting and compliance.
